Miami, November 15, 2013. Vending machines aren’t usually known for their glamour, unless of course its mini bottles of Moët they’re dispensing.
Meet the world’s first Moët & Chandon vending machine, which has just been installed in the Christmas Shop on the fourth floor of Selfridges, London.
Wrapped in glistening gold and stocked with 350 art deco-inspired Swarovski crystal-adorned minis, this is no ordinary automatic dispenser. Press the red Moët seal and watch the golden arm carefully select your bottle (£17.99 each) and deliver it into a glowing cylindrical window. Decadent stocking fillers, or festive party refreshments, but only to be paired with a sterling silver straw.
Perhaps its only rival in the luxury vending machine stakes is the Gold ATM machine, but let’s face it, Moët’s is a lot more fun.
